No surprise here of course. Oregonian has a long reputation for its anti union bias.
Molalla, Wilsonville, Sandy and Canby have operated their own public
transit systems with lower labor costs, lower payroll tax rates, no
long-term debt, virtually no unfunded liabilities for retirees, and
better service than they previously had under TriMet, according to the
report. (Poor pay, no benefits, no retirement, the future that Trimet wants for its union employees)
