Most people don't pay close attention to all of this material as I do.
KATU (former employer of both Mary Festch and Roberta Alsdadt) has been carrying the water for the anti union forces for years now. It all started with this bullshit inflammatory piece they did about 5 years ago. I'm convinced that Trimet had a hand in this since they never refuted any of the BS in it and Mary Festch makes an appearance to tell KATU that the union employees just haven't given what the six figure management employees have to 'save' Trimet

This is the get even because of the Jeff Geanola report. Pay freeze my ass. They had secret raises. They are vested in three years. Why then was my co pay $50 the other day.More propaganda. Nothing in the story about safety.
Again, who negotiated the contracts? Did drivers hold guns to the heads of managers during each negotiation?
Maybe if TriMet went back to being a transit agency, rather than a development agency...naah, the Friends of Neil like things the way they are.
