No single issue derailed contract talks, said Jordan. But several
issues, including bus-driver safety and required health screenings for
less-expensive insurance, angered employees, he said.
“The members feel that they’re assaulted, spat upon and hung out on
their own,” he said, “and management has just told us to take it.”
