This is a low blow..even for you Al. How you can post such an elegantly written piece about Pete & then in the next breath post the raw transcript of a very tramatic experience that is obviously upsetting to the operator who IS ALSO A VICTIM in this before the accident committee or his manager can investigate, and even then this may subject this operator to virtually will amount to a public lynching...you used to berate the onion and ol' joe all the time for this kind of 'reporting'.. you are no better now.

Disagree "Anon"

You are a part of a culture where secrecy and hiding is the norm. This radio frequency is open and available to the public..hundreds of people have already heard it.

Tragic, yes. A public lynching? No. That is quite an over- reaction. It reveals a lot that you you use that word.

The mindset and brainwashing of employees working in or around a secret culture reveal themselevs sometimes. You just did.

Ya hold on here...THIS IS REALITY!
There is no justification for keeping reality hidden.
If you don't like it don't read my stuff!
I'VE SAID IT FOR YEARS-IF YOU DON'T LIKE MY CONTENT THEN DON'T READ IT!

Furthermore it is obviously not the operators fault!

The man was sitting on the tracks!
He must have been trying to commit suicide which is what usually happens when people are sitting on the tracks.

One further point-
Your comment is anonymous which means why would I take it particularly seriously.

Al is absolutley correct. If you don't like it, turn off the TV, don't read it, turn off the radio.
It's called choice--it's up to you how you manage it. It's not Al's job to manage or finesse it for you.

I am the poster for the 1st remark. I am NOT above being corrected or swayed in my thought process.

After reading the replies, I can see the other side and in fact agree with most of them. Of course the second comment was anonymous as well, so Al.
.do you take that one as less seriously as the first?

It reveals alot that I use that word...so its ok for people to predetermine and prejudge without all of the facts? Oh that's right...my apologies again. Al doesnt swear that all of his postings are 100% verified, no half-truths or single sided stories..again, my mistake.

This is Al's blog...no doubt. He's right..dont like it..leave. Truth is, once in a while his "reporting" is informative and interesting. And once in a while I get to save two bucks and read Al's posts for free instead of buying The Enquirer.

You ARE entitled to post whatever you want..that's certainly true...lost alot of people in crappy wars to protect that right of yours to go off half-cocked...but I suspect that like most "publishers" of information such as you, you obviously thrive on the amount of readers or followers you have. You have enough of them now that, like a newspaper of sorts, people believe what you say as 100% fact. Doesn't matter what the disclaimer on the site says..noone ever reads that right? You worked there so it's gotta be true!

Yup. You're right. Its your blog. Yours to screw over anyone you see fit regardless of outcome..regardless of harm. You're fight was management when you worked there..guess screwin with them wasn't enough controversy for ya.

Yeah. TriMet is a company in the public eye and as such needs to be somewhat transparent. Hey, Freddy's sells to the public...you should see if they are hiding secrets that the public needs to know.

In closing..(I apologize for the long winded post but hey..) I am NOT anti-Al...course that might help boost readership.. I have agreed with Al much more than I have disagreed with him in the past. The anonymous posts are because you can't trust him to not betray you when he's on one of his tirades for fear you'll be his next target..in my opinion. Word is (from a reliable source of course) that he holds very few that don't become his next victim..look out SP..you disagree with him and you might be next! I read several posts that were signed 'anonymous'..so don't gibe any of them any weight or believeability either. Why do they post anonymous? Afraid of someone finding out who you are? Wanting to protect your privacy? Feel like ya got more power that way?

Al's not inherently a bad guy...misguided sometimes...but not bad. This might be my last response as it IS Al's blog and I didnt agree with him so likeany other places HE'S. posted to, he may delete it...but it was a nice exercise of opinion..best wishes Al...I truly mean that. Good luck..to all those potential victims (I mean sources of reliable info) only until he digs dirt up on you..then it's your turn to sweat.

Al rocks!

I had a real good post for a follow up to my 1st one but Al has exercised his right to block it. There were no disrespectful comments; no spam. Hey 2nd anonymous...what's your superpowers telling you now?

Freedom of information continues to be a good thing. Personal rage rhetoric, is damaging, uninformative, and boring.
