A broad funding package is paying for the project. The Portland
Development Commission contributed $4 million in 2010, and TriMet is
providing $1 million for habitat improvements as environmental
mitigation credits it needs to proceed with the Portland-to-Milwaukie

The nice thing about buses...they don't require environmental impact statements...because they don't have environmental impacts ;-)
