This is one of the few things our local governments have done right. This line should have been run over the Sellwood Bridge and into Milwaukie instead of their gazillion dollar max train. The west end of the Sellwood Bridge was not the big problem they made it out to be either. Another example of Kafoury Klan Korruption.

Those are Erik's words. I only changed the word "max" to "trolley"; otherwise it's all him. I don't understand how a rail fan is constantly critical of rail; but that's Erik. So I thought it would be interesting to post Erik's own (anti-rail) words in response to his own (pro-rail) post.
I wasn't critical of Erik. I almost always agree with him. It's too bad our "planners" don't have hands on construction knowledge, like Erik does. It would make them a lot less susceptible to scammers, who look at government projects as a big cash machine. In my mind, we could have solved all of the South Portland transit problems for about one-fifth of what it is costing us, the way the bureaucrats are doing it.
