Great debate on the Trimet Facebook page
The Trimet critics vs the Trimet apologists. The critics are the minority by a long shot. The cult of Trimet and Portland is pretty strong. As usual Erik starts the ball rolling!
When there's a disruption, MAX riders can't just wait 10-15 minutes and take the next bus like bus riders can.
Also, if one doesn't like personal attacks, it would be good not to attack others.
Lastly, Transit Tracker will indeed show when a trip is cancelled due to operational issues like a bus bridge. See https://twitter.com/rosecitytransit/status/500490990872821760 And the only trips that I heard be canceled were those two and 810. Remember that they already had a bus bridge going up to where the incident happened.

Name a bus route where another bus is just 10 minutes away. Heck, there aren't that many that have 15 minute service either. And MAX riders can always go to the nearest bus line. There is PLENTY of west-east bus service through Northeast Portland that can accommodate the ridership.

Who did I attack that didn't attack me first? As always Jason you sure like to dish it out, but then bitch and whine when it gets thrown back in your face.
How about Lines 4 and 72? In fact, 450 was one of those that were diverted and it's sole afternoon trip is just 5 minutes before and after other trips. See: http://gtfs.transitq.com/TriMet/block/450_W.394

Are you sure that they can, in addition to their normal ridership? But the 77 was diverted to pick up at least some of the riders (do you think that was a good idea?).
Who did I attack that didn't attack me first?
Why is it OK to attack another person just because they attacked you? Wouldn't it be better to take the high road and give a peaceful response?

Erik is my hero when it comes to the Trimet facebook page!
Keep up the good work Erik!
I will acknowledge that 950 and 450 were also taken out of service
