Direct the activities of Real Property unit responsible for the real estate activities and transactions related to development of large capital projects involving right of way acquisition. Provide leadership and direction to the real property department creating continuous improvement in staff development, systems and integration with Capital Projects overall mission and specific project requirements. Represent the Department at senior staff meetings and before external organizations including local, state, and federal partners. Ensure Department activities are coordinated with overall TriMet project and policy objectives. Ensure a commitment to safety through effective leadership, role modeling and implementing practices that demonstrate safety is a fundamental value and a priority in all aspects of work. Perform related duties as assigned.
