In the year ahead, the safety-oriented work program will mature into a “Safety Management System”, departing from the very useful framework of recommendations provided with the Safety and Service Excellence Task Force recommendation. This will be part of a maturation process that will move TriMet from reaction an integrated and sustainable approach that is proactive and eventually predictive.
