Wonder how long it'll take for trimet to get it to you if they do at all?
Let me guess. One that read "V.I.P. Coach" in the headsign, was on a non-revenue trip, with only "official" people on the bus, and did not pick up any regular riders.
And it was always the newest bus in the fleet, too. How dare Fred suffer on a 1400...
To be fair to Fred- he took the #17 to and from Center Street many work days. It was an added feature for drivers of the 17 that they might carry the boss to or from work.
The man had failings but he DID ride Trimet on a regular basis.
Fred rode the bus daily. Far more than MAX, in fact. Neil also rides the bus regularly. Erik H. doesn't know what he's talking about, and undercuts any logical arguments by spouting stuff that is completely speculation.
Josh: I think Erik does have some valid points, but I agree with you completely when you say that he "undercuts any logical arguments by spouting stuff that is completely speculation."
The systematic dismantling of the bus system due to an unsustainable, insatiable expansion of expensive and frivolous rail projects has been done under the auspices of Fred Hansen and Neil MacFarlane. The fact that they themselves ride buses is wildly ironic yet does nothing to diminish their culpability for this situation, nor does it tarnish the truths Eric consistently reveals regarding it.

Did the photographer say "golden parachute" to get that big smile when the picture was taken?
He looks drugged.
After all he's on a bus...that's probably the only bus he'd ever been on. Through force and intimidation, too.
That is not true. I saw him traveling on a bus on many occasions.

Sorry, wrong again. These were regular, in-service trips. Not special trips and not "always the newest bus in the fleet".

Fred was a SUPERHERO compared to Macfarlane!

That's our (Jason + Me) biggest issue with Erik.
