Since TriMet's official service planning in fact shows that 70% reduction...why isn't Capital Planning being terminated right now (when in fact they should have been terminated back in 2007)?
It'd be awesome to see something that shows how much money TriMet has wasted since 2007 in failed rail projects, unnecessary staffing and departments...but of course the pro-TriMet "reporters" (Joseph Rose and Michael Andersen) won't report on that. Only things that promote their own self-interests.

But the federal funding isn't helping anyone except construction companies and light rail salesmen. It surely isn't helping the general public.
They are trying to dip into the well before it drys up.
