Everything you wanted to know about the union finances but were afraid to ask. I find it odd that this information has to be dug up through the maze of Labor Department reports and not offered to union members as a matter of routine. I am a union supporter, but sometimes I am very suspicious of the union and the motives behind its actions. Big money going through there, and as we all know money corrupts. Not saying they are corrupt but they sure try hard to keep union members from getting this info.
All institutions are prone to corruption and to the vices of their members.

I'd love to see the breakdown of "disbursements for official business".
It represents thousands of dollars and we have no idea what exactly was paid out per item, to whom it was paid out, and why it was paid out.
