Buses and Rail Vehicles in Eugene

Union Pacific Maintenance-of-Way "school" bus.  Due to a major maintenance blitz on UP's mainline, at least a dozen of these buses were spotted in Eugene and Albany, along with dozens of pieces of track equipment, a ballast train and a rail train.

Union Pacific's Brandt Road-Rail Truck.  This truck can operate on highways and on rails, and can pull several loaded freight cars.  It is capable of functioning as a locomotive for a shortline railroad or an industrial customer.  It is also capable of being used as a light rail rescue vehicle - and TriMet owns one to tow disabled MAX cars when needed.

Quality in buses.  Lane Transit District EmX Bus Rapid Transit vehicle - a New Flyer DE60LFR, with left-side doors, at Springfield Station.
