Where have Trimet employees gone?

Here is an overview of what employees—and members of the public—will encounter in the coming months. More information on
Harrison Square, effective 1/14/13
  • Reception desk on 3rd floor staffed 8 a.m.-5 p.m. by former Center St receptionists.
  • Work home of: Most employees from Capital Projects, Finance, Office of the GM, Labor Relations/HR, Legal and Public Affairs.
  • Only HR and Payroll staff, and other approved personnel, will have badge access to the HR/Payroll area. All employees—including coworkers from Harrison Square—who want to talk with HR or Payroll staff in person need to make arrangements by phone or email. You can also inquire at the reception desk if someone from HR or Payroll is available on a drop-in basis.
Holladay Street, effective 1/28/13
  • Temporary work home of: Most Operations, Customer Service, Claims, Safety/Security and IT personnel. (They’ll move to Center in 2014 when remodeling is done and the new Operations Headquarters opens.)
  • Reception desk staffed by temporary employee.
Center Street, effective 1/28/13
  • 1st floor occupied. Top 3 floors empty of staff.
  • Lobby closed to all non-construction personnel. Operators and other employees enter/exit through report area (bullpen).
  • “TUV” (Transit Utility Vehicle) parked in front lot. G4S security officer stationed in TUV 8 a.m.-5 p.m. to greet and assist visitors, including lost & found (in coordination with Station Agents).
Reminders to all employees:
  • Badge access is programmed according to business need.
  • Your badge must be visible when you’re on TriMet property.
  • Visitors must be accompanied by an employee.
