DID YOU KNOW NEIL LIKES TO TRAVEL?
Our Oligarch in chief spent $18,927 on out of town travel!
I see money savings in his office alone...lets see..."Board Recognition" GONE! Out of Town Travel...GONE, Local Travel & Meetings ZERO, Official Meeting Expenses...History!, Dues and Subscriptions? a $14,000 increase, then ANOTHER $9000 increase? Sounds unnecessary, Office Supplies nearly doubled?? Let get that in half again. and Awards and Banquets?? Yeah think not!
Then General Manager goes from $215k to 222k? WRONGO!!
I just found 73000 in savings in this office alone!! And lets take that raise McFarlane thinks hes getting, and switch + to a -, Bam another $7000!
Then theres another $9000 out of town travel lodged in the Diversity/Equity section....and in the Public Affairs Sections....and the.....I see savings all around here!!!
A decent amount may be going down to Salem and the legislature.
But if money really was an issue (and time wasn't), they could get Cherriots/SMART to provide free passes in exchange for doing work that's also beneficial to them (and transit in general). This would make many of those trips free.
