AN ACTUAL TRANSIT DISTRICT THAT CARES ABOUT ITS RIDERS

The arrogant Trimet executives expect riders to waste their personal Time by getting off at the next station to buy a ticket for light rail if all the TVM's at a station are broken. Its one of the most insulting examples of government tyranny I have ever witnessed. Riders can get a $175 if they don't follow that policy. What it means to riders is they miss the train they were on trying to purchase a new ticket. The picture below is the policy of another Transit district in California that actually is reasonable about TVM failure.
