Trimet officials have been trying to convince us every single month for the last year that the decrease in ridership was due to the loss of fareless square.
Well we now have the first month to month comparison after the fareless square was eliminated and guess what, Trimet is still losing riders.
No more lame excuses Trimet officials. You've treated people badly, cut the heck out of the bus service, and people don't really want to ride your system. It's official now. Transit ridership is up to record levels around north America, but Trimet its the opposite
I got an idea for you guys, how about a couple more deputy general managers to study the problem, that will fix it right?
On a positive note, WES served 300 more people this September than last September. Hahaha! (sorry didn't mean to laugh)

I guess the new protest trend is to leave your old bus ticket on the seat you just rode. I have seen numerous All Day Tickets just sitting and waiting for a new owner to consume, crazy; but, kind of Portland cool too.
Interesting BB
But...but...but...WES finally hit 2,100 riders! That's only 400 shy of the magic 2,500 FIRST YEAR ridership projection!
