I FILE MY OWN COMPLAINT-AGAINST TRIMET CUSTOMER SERVICE

My friend Jason Mchuff was riding the 73 train 2. When the bus reached the end of the line he asked to be provided a ride to the garage. The operator refused and made Jason get off. He had to walk over a mile to the next stop. Jenny J said it is the operators discretion weather to give a rider transport on the dead head.
THIS IS IN DIRECT VIOLATION OF TRIMET RULES.

Customer service and Jenny J need a complete retraining because they are dismissing customer complaints using logic that is not supported by Trimet regulations.

Update-
There is an argument on the comments section about the word MAY. I worked at Trimet for 15 years and was told THAT THE BUS IS IN REVENUE SERVICE ON DEAD HEADS AND THAT CUSTOMERS CAN RIDE ON THE DEAD HEAD. There is absolutely not one logical argument to deny a rider a ride along the dead head or to the garage. The driver is making the usual $25/hr for driving empty, it should not be a choice.

Find out who the manager is that "Jenny" said she spoke with and fire them both for incompetency.

That's what should happen but that's what won't happen.

Fire them both? Not a little bit extreme? Retraining? Yes. Fired? That's just a bit nucking futs. Oh no! Another anonymous post! Don't trust it!!!

An operator MAY transport. Funny, doesn't say MUST. Hmmm.

The whole place is a disgrace-too many 6 figure pencil pushers-destruction of the bus service to serve the 'boutique' 'choice' white middle class riders in the suburbs-TVM's that don't work but YOU CAN GET A $175 TICKET BECAUSE YOU DONT HAVE YOUR FARE, it doesnt matter than you cant buy your fare.

Disregard for legitimate citizen groups such as OPAL who are treated like shit.

How much more do you need?

Sure,,retrain a manager and customer service...again. Why not? It's taxpayer money! You bet..that's being a strong fiscal steward of the public's taxes.

And..because you rely and relish the word "may"--let's let employees off the hook to "do the right thing."

You betcha. Glad you are not in charge at TriMet. Or, are you??

If this can happen to Jason, an indidvidual that loves and supports everything about TriMet, how many other people might it be happenning to?

Sad.

The real issue is that this could happen to someone who is far less willing/capable of walking then I was.
