Your unilateral decision to give up our right to strike has now lead to the worst case scenario for your members.
You made this decision on your own and did not allow the members to vote on it.
We need to hear EXACTLY AND PRECISELY what lead you to make this decision for "us" because it has lead us down the path of destruction. The membership has been effectively locked out of our own union contract negotiations. Truly despicable Jon.

Check the facts. I believe this was done when Ron was President along with the no Pers thing.
Nope-it was Jon
Here's another take: employees who provide "essential services" (police, fire, nurses, etc.) don't have a right to strike. In giving up strike rights, Hunt established a policy-level equivalence between transit and other vital public services. Paradoxically, Macfarlane appears to have been arguing the opposite, and should therefore be in favor of returning transit workers' strike rights.
