WOODLAWN GETS SOME RELIEF

Line 8 Operators:
Use the layover listed on your paddle
Beginning with the new signup March 2013, some line 8 layovers have changed to a new location at Ainsworth, please use the layover assigned to your run. If the layover location on your paddle says to layover at Ainsworth, you need to go there and not stay at Dekum. If your layover location is Dekum and you need to use a restroom, use Winchell but not Ainsworth.
It is important that you use the layover assigned to your run which is printed on your paddle. Also please remember to adhere to the slow order of 5 mph speed limit on Ashley and Grand when enroute to Ainsworth layover.
Ainsworth layover Use Ainsworth layover
Dekum Use either Dekum or if you need to use a restroom – Winchell
Do not use Grand Ave between Dekum and Ashley as a short cut to your layover at Ainsworth as this will generate complaints from the neighborhood.
Schedule writers have assigned each run one layover location, based on a careful and important plan designed to support safety, schedules and working with the neighborhood.
Thank you for using the layover location listed on your paddle. Using a different location may create parking issues as well as problems within the neighborhoods if you cannot park in an assigned spot.
If you have any questions about the layover locations, please talk with a Field Supervisor or Schedule Writer. There will be changes again in June – be sure to look at your paddle.

If the trips will end there there needs to be new 8 stops on Dekum to MLK so a connection can be made to line 6. There shouldn't need to be a 3 route trip to get 2 miles.
