BAY AREA ABOUT TO GET DOUBLE WHAMMY

OAKLAND -- A BART strike for Tuesday morning looked increasingly likely as the long-running labor talks careened off the tracks heading toward Monday night's deadline to reach a deal.
As if that wasn't enough: AC Transit workers on Monday morning shocked the Bay Area by issuing a 72-hour notice to strike Thursday for the first time in 38 years if contract talks fail at the region's third-biggest transit agency.
