1) OPAL is being too kind. They didn't mention how TriMet is screwing around with them.

2) If I were OPAL, I would be advertising that transfers are valid for *boarding* for 2 hours. If it expires while you're on the bus, that's OK under TriMet code. Seems like most riders don't know this.

BTW: The Sherpa app doesn't show your ticket at all once it expires. I bet we're going to see people who expire in-route getting tickets unnecessarily because of this. Even worse, those people might think they're actually in violation when they're not.

Thats why its a $5 dollar fare system, $2.50 is a misleading one way fare.
