PORTLAND TRANSPORT BANS ME

I knew this was coming, oh well, more time for twitter and Facebook.
Of course I think its completely undeserved, Portland Transport is definitely not a free speech blog.
Bob Richardson has gone into nazi mode these days, 'moderating' comments and brutishly lecturing and scolding commentators he doesn't agree with.
They were created to expressly push the light rail/st car agenda obviously they are not tolerant of dissenting opinions.
When Portland Transport 'updated' ( i think the new site is worse that the old site) its web site they announced they were gong to get rid of dissenting opinions.

I join Jim Karlock, who I considered one of the most colorful bloggers around here who was also banned by Portland Transport. I didn't agree with Jim most of the time but I loved his presentations and research.

I'll keep any eye on them from here, or get my pals to make my posts, in reality you can't ban anybody from a public website

And just so ya know, I ended up getting banned when I stuck up for another Portland Transport commentator, Ron Swaren, and refered to bob as a 'nazi'. Too much for them to handle I guess.
It's a badge of honor in my opinion when your words strike so deep in the minds of these blog owners that they have to 'ban' you. Portland Transport join BARTS Youtube channel and Trimet facebook on my list off 'banned from'

Sorry you couldn't come around to having a civil conversation...

Ironic that Bob is the one saying that. He NEVER could have a civil conversation.

Bob has gone over the deep end lately. Adios is fine with me. I can't take that forever praise of all this light rail stuff without getting sarcastic. You know how they are and I am not one to back down in a standoff

Apparently my commnets are not formally banned----just somehow lost in the shuffle. I think what did it was my claim to inheritance of a multi racial family background---when I realized a few weeks ago that our family had a healthy dose of lineage from Asiatic, Arctic Circle and polar dwelling Lappish people---also called Sami.

But back to Transport---there is a huge range of subject matter, but Portland Transport will focus in on : making people use bikes; restricting parking; figuring out justifications for higher taxes and fees.

It always gets down to that. I have tried to bring up driving safety concerns or new legislation that would both bring bicyclists current with standard vehicle law, and prom, ote safety for them. I have brought up efficient construction methods that would provide a cheap way to get bicyclists off the roads; I have brought up a plethora of technical innovation, mostly from greencar congress.com but they are NOT interested.

Their goal is to financially burden auto users and turn Portland into an auto-banned mecca-----that functions only when it wants to. How Portlandia.
