PORTLAND -- A teenager shot late Friday night at the Holgate TriMet Transit Station died early Sunday morning, police said.
Abukar Madey died from a gunshot wound to the head, according to the Oregon State Medical Examiner.
Just before midnight Friday, police found a 22-year-old Lucio Alejandro Ramirez-Navarro shot several times at Southeast 92nd Avenue and Southeast Holgate Boulevard. He was taken to the hospital with traumatic injuries, said Sgt. Pete Simpson with Portland police.
Officers in the area then found Madey on the stairs leading to the MAX platform with a gunshot wound to the head.
Police do not have information about a potential suspect.
The Holgate Transit Station was reopened Saturday morning.
