THE POLICE STATE LOCKS UP LANE JENSEN

It needs to be clearly stated that Lane had never made a threat to a person or property. He was clearly involved in 'activist' activities. Using the police state against citizens who 'get out of hand' has become far too common. It's truly troubling and portends a frightening future for the USA

Al,

Lane should not be harassing officials and if he does not get an answer. Then he should blog about it. Sometimes Lane goes overboard with his TriMet claims. I have bound no basis for some of his complaints.

I know Lane went overboard but that does not excuse the violent retribution of the police state we live in

His arrest is not violence. it is a result of a bit of overzealous attempts to get answers from Tri-Met. He is only charged with a minor offense and will probably be able to work out a plea deal if he is smart and lays low. If he refrains from calling Tri-Met officials for a while things will calm down for him.

Arrest and entering non-violent citizens into the system is a kind violence.

Police know that arresting activists like Lane (or anyone) at their place of employment may cost them their job. This is pure intimidation and overreach by the police state.
