First Transit underbid MV 2 MILLION dollars to get Reg 1's contract away
from them (MV). When MV had Reg 1, they didn't have the problems that
have arisen since First transit took over for them. The driver's had
decent health coverage w/out paying out the ass for it like they do now.
My wife's CO-PAY for a dr visit is $277.00!! That is the co-pay with
First Transit's insurance that they offer. While fixed route driver's
have one of the best health care packages in the country, para-transit
drivers do not get the benefits of the same union, let alone their
employer. So, I do blame first transit for some of this. The union
doesn't have to take care of the drivers like they do their own because
it is SUB-CONTRACTED out to another company. Sorry, but no one should be
paying $277 for a damn co-pay for a dr. visit. We sure cannot afford
it, could you?

If the co-pay is that amount, how much is the insurance paying?
