It's interesting indeed that when a Trimet fare box is kaput everyone rides for free.
I understand that basically Trimet doesn't trust its operators to collect the fare, they would rather hand out free rides.
But if riders can ride free on the bus why is that not so on Max.
This is one time that bus riders get preferential treatment over max riders.
