What is an LM2 Report?
Every labor organization subject to the Labor-Management Reporting and Disclosure Act, as amended (LMRDA), the Civil Service Reform Act (CSRA) standards of conduct regulations, or the Foreign Service Act (FSA) must file a financial report, Form LM-2, LM-3, or LM-4, each year with the Office of Labor-Management Standards (OLMS) of the U.S. Department of Labor. The three forms vary in the level of financial details that must be reported. The filing requirements are determined by the total annual receipts of the union. The term “total annual receipts” means all financial receipts of the labor organization during its fiscal year, regardless of the source, including receipts of any special funds as described in Section VIII (Funds To Be Reported) and as described in Section X (Labor Organizations With Subsidiary Organizations). The Form LM-2 is required for labor organizations with $250,000 or more in total annual receipts.
The LM2's are public information and is available for viewing online. It can be tricky to find them so I thought I would help with how you can locate these reports.
How to find the LM2 Reports -

I hope the link above works. After I post it I will test it out and will comment if it does or does not work.
When you get to the page you will see an area about the middle that is titled "Union Reports and Constitutions and Bylaws" "Union Search" is the first link under that title. Click on it.
This should open up a Union Search page. Now here is where things are a little tricky. ATU757 is not listed as such and if you try to type the name you will have problems finding it. The easiest why I can explain how to find it is to find the box that says " Designation Number" only fill in that box and put 757 Then scroll to the bottom of that page and hit the "Submit" button (Do Not use the submit button at the top of the page).
Once you hit the "Submit" button at the bottom of the page another page will open with a list of unions. Towards the bottom you will find "TRANSIT UNION AFL-CIO LOCAL DIVISION 757" This is our union. Click on that link.
Now you will see a list of LM2's starting with 2013 Report going all the way down to 2000 Report so you can look at the past 13 years of union report.
There is a lot of information on these reports and it is interesting how numbers change from year to year. It is too bad that our union doesn't allow us to maintain our financial reports so we can compare number and actually try to see if the numbers match to what is being reported to us. Then again I am the one to blame for that because they use to until I noticed the numbers didn't match and was pointing it out to all the members. So our elected officers decided against allowing us to keep such close tabs on them. So now this is all we have to go from.
