TriMet recently completed a nationwide search
(another phony search eh?) for the new Executive
Director of Finance and Administration. After vetting numerous qualified
applicants, TriMet selected Dave Auxier for his depth of knowledge and
ability to immediately understand our current fiscal challenges. Dave
served as TriMet’s Finance executive from 2003- 2009 and recently
returned in an interim position. He is working closely with the
executive team to ensure TriMet’s long-term financial stability.

Has he already put a ground stop to Milwaukie MAX, terminated all payments to the City of Portland Streetcar system, permanently shut down WES, and ordered 250 new buses to replace the old gas-guzzling, unreliable (and costly) buses currently in service?

Sounds like another management flack to me...
Do you have evidence that, when all factors are considered, those are the most prudent actions to take?
If you want somebody you can trust to not blow the whistle on you that is the most prudent action to take.
