Trimet whipping up all this 'excitement' for something that is not exciting at all.
It's a light rail line. It's not even going to be more convenient for current Trimet commuters. What used to be a one vehicle ride is now a 2 vehicle ride.

You know, that's what they said when the max was built to downtown. Now it goes to Hillsboro! The 99e corridor is the logical route for an eventual light rail line to Salem, which I hope to see within my lifetime. You've got a short sighted tone that is all too common among tri met union activists and I will tell you that I'm not alone in thinking it brings shame and public disapproval to your cause to be putting the benefits package of a privileged few over all else.
