Excitement continues on the Trimet system




Commuting rap on the Yellow Line this morning: "The doors, the doors, the doors, the doors are closing..." Yo!

Yellow Line running early and driver won't open the door if you are running a bit late.

 
im really upset. The 77 drove past me at 5th & everett at 7:35 making me late for work.

My rt 94 driver, veh 1701, sure had his morning coffee :-). He should be general mgr, i love his attitude in the A.M.


I am so glad that does not have ACTUAL TV on the bus like Metro in LA. Made me nauseous, plus the idea is really offensive. 

why are the max trains going so much slower the last couple weeks? It's not hot, it's not wet out. 

are you accepting former zone passes as long as riders add the difference in change? Hate to waste those tickets 

TriMet's 6 bus is the Cannabis Express, this morning. 

And that 51 driver with the 2200 had no clue what she was doing. She stopped to talk to our driver about where she should go. Go ! 

 
But of course a huge gang of obnoxious 5th graders just got on the bus... -__-  

Holy crap. It's a low floor on the 51! I've only seen that three times. must be low on buses this morn. Wow.  

People on max who r 2 masculine 2 seem female but @ same time 2 effeminate 2 seem male. You end up spending ride trying 2 figure out. 

Bus 1608 is in bad shape. Broken farebox and the floor has pieces of it that were replaced. No, we don't need new buses, ... 

Watching a employee pick up cigarettes & fling them into the street. They're not in the tracks anymore so it's not littering, right? 

Who has two thumbs and forgot to set an alarm this AM? Good thing I'm at the apartment, Trimet from here to work a little more forgiving. 

. There's an awful stench on bus 2839, like someone exploded a jar of oregano, pissed all over it & ground it into the floor.

there is a wasp nest in the top of the bus stop for line 67 at the Merlo / 158th max stop. Just thought you should know. 

I love how raises fares and cuts service so that it can afford to pay people not to work. (is "love" the right word?) 

Thanks for legislating on the Bridge Ave mess! Next, ask about all the rush-hour 16 drivers who illegally straddle, too.

FYI a whole bunch of yellow jackets are swarming in and out of the cover- east bound Millikan way platform.

Sitting on trimet, seeing all these different kinds of people. Makes you think about your future. Learn from others, make the best of you! 

Hey , there's three guys selling (probably stolen or counterfeit) transfers at Rose Quarter.

just announced new transit grants. Who DIDN'T make the grade? . Lots of new buses elsewhere... 

I wonder if this non- Portland bus has A/c...  

The line 77 map/schedule at Jonesmore/82nd, busiest stop on the line, is outdated. And you wonder why people are getting lost. 

MAX LED Transit Tracker Screens won't work sometimes for a couple of days. Oh no! Now they'll have to have it just like bus riders! 

The driver of this bus on the 20 route is awesome. Bus number 2519. 

Earphones in and everyone else out.  

With all the annoyance I hear about trimet buses, I'm surprised a legal (or illegal) "dollar van" service hasn't popped up in  

So, when's anyone gonna police the smoking at BTC? It's sickening for asthmatics. Please, it's the rules! 

Never a dull trip when using public Trimet. People are crazy. So crazy. 

Woah, train + trimet on Steel bridge makes for a bumpy walk!

Text from my kid: "When my bus driver was helping me with my bike his boss came on and told the other trimet employees to be more like him." 

I'm on a line 4 bus 2219 the driver just told me his firebox has been broke for 8 hrs not collecting fares  

Haha! Four fare inspectors at the new green/yellow max stop. One actually checked my fare (cont)  

tr 94/10 announced she doesn't go down Main Street? The schedule and route map beg to differ 

I've also seen 's new logo on the signs all up and down MAX blue line . 

Oh hey! Looky! A 3rd 14 into downtown within 4 minutes! Great schedules, , great schedules... 

Two 14s into downtown 3 min apart. The first one a sardine can, the second one nearly empty. Go !
