- there was ZERO communication to the bus riders whose trips were
interrupted because TriMet pulled those important rush hour buses away
from the bus routes, in order to provide rescue service to MAX riders. I
have been told point blank by TriMet management/staff that "TriMet does
not make alternate arrangements in the event of service failure" but
this only applies to bus service, apparently. MAX service is so
important, that TriMet is willing to sacrifice bus riders and leave them
stranded.

- and that means you, Diane Goodwin, need to post a complete list of
bus trips that were cancelled/annulled to rescue MAX riders. And I
expect TriMet's dedicated Public Relations and Marketing staff to go the
extra mile for those bus riders who were forced to wait longer than
normal and endure crush load buses - they deserve a little extra for
being left behind at the bus stop. I want that list on THIS Facebook
page tomorrow - a complete list of every bus trip that was rerouted to
MAX shuttle service.

That's more bogus crap from Erik. Just listen to the scanner and you'll hear extra board operators filling in for broken down (etc) busses all the time.

Erik is most likely not going to get involved with this discussion.
He continues to be one of my favorite people, Max and Jason notwithstanding.

That's the statement I take issue with. Once I read something so blatantly false as that, I tend to discard the rest of what Erik is saying -- and that's a pity, because sometimes he makes good points.
Don't worry Erik, you got plenty of supporters including me.
Max comes after me too all the time, you get used to it.
The way Erik keeps spouting false and nonsensical statements, as well as the length of his complaints, I'm wondering if he should be compared to right-wing commentators.

You can listen to the scanner any day of the year, and hear them filling bus routes with extras -- ergo Erik is wrong.
Or Al, what do you think the purpose of the extra board is? What do you hear when you listen to the scanner?
