Clark County voters want say in any transit decision

But they also  voted for Tom Leavitt who signed the secret deal with Trimet. Of course there may be other reasons why Leavitt won re-election besides light rail. I don't know anything about the goings on in Vancouver. Incumbents always have an huge advantage, who knows why.

Clark county is getting light rail whether they like it or not. Portland area voters turned  it down but it was built anyway the same thing will happen in Clark county. Ironically that is one place where a light rail line actually makes sense. Not to worry, the money involved is so huge the power brokers will make sure they get what they can out of that, citizens be damned.
