I agree with her on how long Trimet has taken to fix safety issues that they already know about. I want the company to move at the speed of light on safety issues. Now I am speaking only to rail. I think this gal needs to learn about the ability of the trains stopping distants and I realy think she needs to be taken out and showed in a rail yard what it takes to stop a train. She needs to ride in a cab to see just how offten the rail operator are presented with approaching pedestrian and how hard it is to see or decide if they will stop or walk I front of the train. The fact is the flaw with rail being on ground level. This is a flaw that has cost and will continue to cost lives.
