Mcfarlane has been busy reinventing the wheel over at Trimet. Of course moving people around gives the impression that something is being done.  In one breath he talks about the award winning multi modal paradise that has been created by Trimet then in the next breath he finds he has to reorganization the entire award winning structure, moving bureaucrats around and changing job descriptions. Mcfarlane is like a little kid who has a toy store all of his own to play with.

In a memo to staff on Monday, McFarlane wrote: "I believe these organizational changes will position us to better account for our performance, accept responsibility for the results, and provide more transparent decision-making. A sharpened focus on accountability (hahahaha)will help us manage our business efficiently and deliver improved outcomes for our customers, our employees, and our stakeholders.
