PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- Portland's mayor wants to spend more of your money on the streetcar.
A KOIN 6 News investigation this past summer found the streetcar is consistently falling short when it comes to generating revenue. So how can the city justify spending more on a project that's losing money?
As it turns out, the money would go to fixing an issue near Portland State University.
"It's nice because it's free for PSU students," said one student Tuesday. "So it's convenient.
