Glad to hear that Trimet at least understands a human life is more valuable than a MAX train but $2000 is not much of a carrot to entice anyone into being a snitch that wouldn't provide the information for free.
Of course we have the useless Harry Sapporta making a BS statement for the benefit of public relations:

But $2000 does seem like it would be a lot to a homeless person, though I think its less likely for one to connect with the police and provide info.
