Trimet, the Bells&Whistles leader in the transit field, is beginning its new E-Fare ticket scheme.
It's all very nice of course until you realize that this is costing $30,000,000 and that money is come directly out of the general fund.
That's a lot of money which could have been used for direct rider services.
It's a damn shame that Trimet executive management wastes so much revenue for so many unnecessary things.

BART (San Francisco), SDMTS (San Diego) and lots of other agencies use E-fare. It's the latest technology. Whats the issue?
The issue is $30,000,000.
