Like the proverbial elephant in the room, you don't have to use Trimet to have it ruin your day. That hegemonic agency touches everyone.
And now #TriMet power outage causing some troubles for motorists: MAX train reportedly blocking SW 5th and Morrison in downtown. #pdxtraffic

All MAX lines disrupted because of power outage
Posted: May 06, 2013 6:28 AM PDT Updated: May 06, 2013 6:32 AM PDTTriMet is warning commuters to expect major delays, and lines may only be working in certain areas:
- Max lines are working outside the Portland city center.
- The Blue Line is only running from Hillsboro to JELD-WEN
- The Red line is only running between Hollywood to Gateway Transit Center
- The Green line is only running from Hollwood to Clackamas Town Center
- The Yellow line is not running at all.
Bus service will remain in regular service.
Shuttle buses are serving all stations on the Yellow Line from PSU to Expo Center, Green Line stations from PSU to Hollywood Transit Center and Blue/Red lines from JELD-WEN Field to Hollywood TC.
#Breaking: @trimet tells us that @pdxstreetcar is also impacted by power outages... Expect major delays city-wide.

@trimet #31 another no-show this morning. I'm walking down to the TC, I can get there faster than the next bus that probably won't show up.

Mentally filing away this morning for the next time that someone tries to tell me that @trimet MAX is awesome and should come to the Couve.
