Citizens of the City of Portland voted for Kirk Reeves and as far as I am concerned Kirk was a fine example of Portland, its glory and its tragedy.
I will always refer to this bridge as the KIRK REEVES bridge, The oligarchs name is irrelevant to me.

I hope after opening, that someone neatly spray paints the real bridge name on this "beloved" span. The Trimet official names are so boring and forgettable!
MOSSY PANCAKE
Sorry Max, Kirk Reeves!
Shouldn't the Hawthorne Bridge be Re-named the Kirk Reeves Bridge since that is where he was always sitting?
That's an idea!
I prefer the "Working Kirk Bridge" as that dude worked his ass off in his own weird way for the so-called weird people of the "city that works ".
