So those 625 BUSES are being equipped with new radio systems costing tax payers $34 million dollars.
So how much is the cost per bus? $54,400 per bus!
Granted they have to equip the bases with new equipment etc but at $54,400 a bus someone is getting obscenely wealthy at the expense of the tax payers

I believe that is incorrect. Besides the buses, there's the new computers at dispatch and servers to run it all, and all MAX radios are going to be replaced (except for Type 4s, that's 4 cab radios plus an operator's handheld per 2-car train). Supervisors will also be getting new systems.
Do you have any idea how many pieces of equipment they are actually purchasing?
Look for the original board resolution, that might give some idea. I could ask if you really care that much. There's probably spares and stuff too.
Ya I'm interested in what $34 million buys
LIFT is also getting a whole new radio system
$34 million!
over 3700 radios total, plus dozens of dispatcher/controller consoles and base stations, plus design/installation/testing, plus software...
All that while cutting service, lying to the public, and employees also, allocating the public funds to mysterious things like the Columbia River project? And a get out of jail free card from the Board.
HB
It was put on Trimet's 'credit card' aka bonds which tax payers have to pay for.
Bonds that are issued WITHOUT voter approval I may add
Actually, all the Columbia River Crossing funding is coming from the project
