First of TriMet 3200s in service

And TriMet even put out a lengthy press release, e-mail blast and everything: Our new buses are hitting the road! | TriMet News and Media Releases TriMet News: Our new buses are hitting the road!
This means that as the summer moves on, every single 40-foot bus should have air conditioning, and the vast majority will have low floor.  In fact, even some of the 2100s should be retired as according to the following chart (from page 229 of the Capital Asset Management & Investment Program 5-Year Plan 2015-2019), there were only 38 1400s and 1700-1800s left last November.

In addition, it appears that TriMet has sped up replacement even since then, as it shows that this order (fleet 61) was supposed to be for only 25 buses.  But on the other hand, the press release says there will be only 22 new 30-foot buses, when there originally were 53 of them.  Moreover, it says the new ones will replace buses "purchased in 1992", which isn't quite correct as some of the current ones are 1600s from 1990-91.
