@APMargulies @japuvian no, I don't. We don't have to, at least. We just need to work together more. It'll send a stronger message and trimet won't be able to ignore us as easily
Let me say this about that,
1-Trimet does not actually 'ignore' us , somebody over there is reading everything that is available over the net.
Trimet is a master public relations agency. If there is one thing they do right over there its public relations. Granted most of it is BS but they still have been able to capture the minds of most people. And there are changes that occur, they are subtle. You'll never hear Trimet proclaim, "PDXtrimetrider" was right and we decided to do this because of that. Never happen. I know we have made a difference. They 'pretend' to ignore us but believe me they are not ignoring us.
2-There has always been a 'loose' affiliation among Trimet bloggers. Virtually all of us know each other in some aspect of real life. Although there is no formal coordination among us the fact that so many eyes and ears are following the topic makes for pretty good and complete coverage of Trimet news and issues.
With those two points in mind how exactly could we 'coordinate'?
Well maybe we could coordinate our public testimony in front of the board. 5 synced presentations on a particular topic could be effective. (it always makes great material for us to use later) .
Or maybe we could coordinate specific posts?
Each of us handles blogging the subject their own way and with their own creativity.
In my opinion that's what makes the blog community so valuable.
