BAILING OUT LANE
I went down to the jail to bail out Lane, this is what I experienced.

So- showing my legal ignorance, wasn't bail set at his initial arrest hearing? Did they just wait until before the start of his trial tomorrow to rearrest him and finally set bail?
It appears that Lane misunderstood the terms of his release agreement. He thought no contact with the 'victim' (alsdadt) mean he can't text her, call her, email her etc. What he didn't understand is that he can't comment about her public statements either. Apparently he called her a 'lying fucking bitch' on his podcast. What he was referring to was her public statement on safety at Trimet. So they hauled him back to jail. I'm sure the DA would have liked for Lane to stay in jail however i screwed that up for him. Now if he does it one more time he will end up in jail with no bail.
