Whatever, just strange, completely strange:
Once the cars begin
running, the St. Louis group would pay $80,000 to TriMet to "retire the
remaining local interest share" on the trolley, Fetsch said.
The word "interest " in this
context relates to the vehicles' value, just as it would apply to a used
car's value after it has depreciated over the years, she said.
"We are not giving them away," Fetsch said. "St. Louis would pay the
balance of the local share of the interest, so it relieves us of that cost.
They would go from operating up to about eightdays a year to daily usage in St.
Louis."

For the sake of excellence in media broadcasting please feel free follow-up this story by balancing the Trimet fiscal budget; hence, the $80,000 Receivable for the Piece of Shit Trolleys less the cost of the new 'much needed,' their words, "Centralized LRV Repair Facility"
You may include ALL annual operating maintenance cost, then vs now too!
If I were Trimet management I would get in the Mortuary Crematory Business, they are sure good at digging holes, attracting worms and eating dirt!!!
