TRIMET RETIREES EAT A DOUBLE SERVING OF SHIT

So I'm finally getting around to do my taxes so I take a look at my 1099-R and golly gee it sure looks like a hella lot more than I got.

So I call over to the Benefits person at Trimet to get some more info.

And guess what! 

Remember how when we were employees they would deduct the medical payment from the gross reducing our tax liability?

 WELL THEY DON'T DO THAT ANYMORE WHEN YOU  RETIRE!

No sir, everything that comes out of our puny checks is  taxed, including that crappy ass medical we are getting.

I am now waiting for a call back from Trimess to see if I can get out of this rotten deal and just sign up for the Obamacare.

So not only do we have to pay for that medical, we have to pay income tax on the amount we pay on the medical! Basically we are paying twice for our medical.

When you're working its called EARNED INCOME, when you're not working its no longer called EARNED INCOME so its taxable.

God I love this blood sucking leech of a country, putting the screws to ordinary citizens while allowing multinationals to skate totally free

Anybody that actually thinks our government gives one damn about the ordinary citizens of this country needs psychiatric care.
