I also will never understand why they make false promises to restore service at a certain time after a major service disruption.
THEY NEVER RESTORE THE SERVICE AT THE TIME THEY say and not one media outlet calls them on these distortions.
Unbelievable that the people in charge of Trimet can get away with lying about virtually everything year after year after year
Update: All MAX lines experiencing delays due to earlier mechanical issue. Expect delays thru 7:30p as regular service returns.

The times they give for restoring service are estimates. Now that's what they should call them instead of saying service WILL be restored...sometimes you just don't know an exact time but people want one so what else can you do?
