Trimet has fallen down on its core responsibilities

This is another serious management failure! They were too busy enlarging Mcfarlanes empire to take care of business.  Of course these fat executives will not be penalized for yet another one of there many screw ups. See at Trimet the  owners (Mcfarlane and his cronies) can do whatever they want whenever they want!
Even if it means that the public gets horrible service because of management failures the management pays no penalty. The life of the executive class of Portland's transit agency is one of luxury insulated from the real world of responsibility.

Staffing is "not sized at the level of other transit agencies of similar size and scope of operations," the report shows.
