Keep your head down, your mouth shut, and you can make a decent wage.
Kind of a horrible lifestyle. No more defined pension benefit and the health benefits are better than nothing but what the hell, the only place left to get a liveable wage job is somewhere in gubmint so if you can handle stress give it a shot.
I lasted 15 years (part time) wasn't so bad for the first 12 years I guess looking back. I could have lasted another 10 years had I not been such an activist and independent thinker . Just remember if you do go to work at 3MESS You're just a number in a large human processing plant. They process you In they process you out! Time goes flat when you drive a bus or work at Trimet. Your life is like a bus schedule, and there is no way out till the day you leave.
