What I want to know:

Do riders feel safe, at stops, on transit vehicles?
Do non-choice riders feel more or less safe than choice riders?
Do vulnerable populations that use transit feel that their safety needs are met?
Do bus only riders feel safer than MAX only riders?

Sense of safety is important, if not more important, than safety statistics when it comes to retaining riders and attracting new riders.

But hey, this was a really a doc without hard hitting conclusions, no?

Ask Sapporta those questions.

Is there a differrent measurement of safety applied if you are a choice or non-choice rider? If you are a vulnerble transit rider, is your safety regulated by a differrent standard?
The awareness and perception of system safety and trust from TriMet to the public and TriMet employees is all but vanished. Sad to see this agency regress as it has over the last few years.
Well done documentary--thank you.

The chances of a rider getting hurt on trimet are low
